Advantis LEO Thailand, a joint venture between Advantis Group, a leading transportation and logistics company with a presence in South Asia and South East Asia, and LEO Global Logistics, a publicly listed company in Thailand, celebrated the grand opening of its Multi-User Distribution Centre in Bang Plee on November 22, 2023. The establishment of the warehouse aligns with the company’s strategic vision to provide customised end-to-end logistics solutions to customers in Thailand and beyond.
The grand opening was attended by Mr. Chintaka de Zoysa, Member of the Group Management Committee of Advantis Group, Mr. Randika Perera, Chief Executive Officer of Advantis LEO Thailand, Mr. Kettivit Sittisoontornwong, Chief Executive Officer of LEO Global Logistics, Mr. Sanee Dangwung, Chairman of the Board of Directors of LEO Global Logistics and other personnel from both Advantis and LEO, and other distinguished guests and media representatives.
The newly established warehouse stands prominently within the Bang Plee Industrial Estate, strategically situated to provide seamless connectivity to key transportation hubs such as Suvarnabhumi Airport, Laem Chabang Port, and the bustling metropolis of the Bangkok Metropolitan Area. This prime location not only enhances logistical efficiency but also showcases Advantis LEO Thailand’s commitment to optimising supply chain operations for its valued clientele.
The logistics facility will offer a range of integrated logistics services, such as on-demand warehouse and distribution services, integrated logistics (inbound and outbound), and customised solutions for vital sectors such as Hi-Tech and telecommunications, FMCG, agriculture, apparel etc. The Bang Plee Distribution Centre, will serve as a hub for cross-border e-commerce logistics and end-to-end integrated logistics services, connecting Thailand with other markets in Southeast Asia and beyond, and is the first of a network of logistics facilities to be set up across Thailand.
